I just spent an hour making a trailer for a movie that I've wanted to make since I was a kid. I didn't shoot any footage, make CGI, go on location, or explain my vision to anyone else.

I used Gen-2 from Runway. This tech is evolving very quickly.

So interesting to me, that what might become intellectual property or achieve artistic value, is the text prompts used to squeeze desired results out of AI image synthesis systems, not the images themselves.

Yesterday (June 15, 2022) was my last day at Meta. I learned so much in Horizon Worlds where I and was able to help the community grow. Near the end of July I'll be starting a new role, still in 3D/AR/VR but this time primarily focused on professional 3D creators.
