Manchester City Council (MCC) refuse to remove the Noise Abatement Notice they served on us last November.

Night & Day have appealed the notice. We have and continue to operate in the exact same manner as we have done previously and for the past 30 years.

Imagine the sense of entitlement required to buy a flat next to a legendary venue and then complain about the noise, to the point of it being under threat. A simple precedent. No amount of money should allow you to make unreasonable demands on institutions of cultural importance.
