Four precious Black sisters with bright smiles and big dreams were taken far too soon in a horrific arson fire in Flora, Indiana, and nearly a decade later, their killer still walks free.
On November 21, 2016, flames deliberately set destroyed their home, claiming the lives of, Keyana Davis, (11)— the protective big sister, Keyara Phillips,(9), Kerriele McDonald(7), Kionnie Welch(5)— momma’s baby who loved cheerleading and cuddles
Their mother, Gaylin Rose, heroically ran back into the burning house multiple times trying to save them, suffering injuries but surviving with a broken heart that still fights for justice every single day.
No arrests. No answers. But Gaylin refuses to let her daughters be forgotten. The FBI and Indiana State Police continue investigating, and a reward remains for information leading to an arrest.
These four beautiful girls deserved a long, joyful life. Their smiles in these photos still light up the world.
Rest in Power, Keyana, Keyara, Kerriele, and Kionnie. Your lives mattered. 💔🕊️
Prayers up for Gaylin and their family.
In 1921, Bessie Coleman received her pilot's license becoming the first black licensed pilot.
Women and people of color had no training opportunities in the US so she learnt French and moved to Paris to earn her license.

If you can’t fly, then run. If you can’t run, then walk.
If you can’t walk, then crawl, but whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward.
If I cannot do great things, I can do small things in a great way.

@JamesWilli83301@IsaacHayes3 No not lack of opportunity. I was referring to the genocide they experienced. No one tells them to forget it. It happened in the past
@JamesWilli83301@IsaacHayes3 Have you told Jewish people the Holocaust should be forgotten? Racism is alive and well in 2026. Banning books, denying opportunity, murder going unpunished, stereotypes and hate, and the lie of DEI.
@JamesWilli83301@IsaacHayes3 Still relevant today. Denying opportunity. Supporting Stereotypes and racist bs. Find it interesting that no one tells Jews that the holocaust is ancient history
