In case you needed a reminder why border security is important and why we shouldn’t allow 10 million people to come across the border unvetted, this is Mexico right now:
Failed is quite the reach pal. Still waiting on a text/call from him after I got shipped off like a piece of garbage. Can’t wait to see you twice a year, Coach.
Luckily humic acid and bios can grow just as good of a crop without any synthetic fertilizer. Had a dryland wheat field go 88 this summer and may set our farm record on this irrigated corn field that’s never gone over 200. @HaFa_Ngen@bw_fusion
Price changes since the same time of year 2023:
Corn - 16% lower
Urea - 5% higher
UAN - 25% higher
NH3 - 3% higher
DAP - 44% higher
MAP - 17% higher
Potash - 3% higher
One of these things is not like the other one.
@loopholefarms@JasonSchley@HaFa_Ngen@bw_fusion I think we definitely need to take soil samples and monitor as we go. What started us on this was our soil samples came back showing 50 lbs of phos needed every year. One year phos was cheap and we spread 200. Had the same disappointing yield and needed 50 lbs again the next year
@loopholefarms@HaFa_Ngen@bw_fusion Give @JasonSchley a follow if you aren’t already, he’s doing some reduced input testing also, and he forgets more about soil every night than I’ll ever know. I’d say right now we are focusing on getting carbon in our soil, and hoping a healthy soil sustains itself
@cass_gilmore@HaFa_Ngen@bw_fusion We are dealers for Hafa and BW fusion. We get most of our program from those 2 companies plus we get some other seed treatments to go with it and over treat our corn/grain sorghum seed
@bigesbaling@Chuckyp1023@HaFa_Ngen@bw_fusion Wheat I’m still getting about $80 an acre into fertility. Corn/grain sorghum with lower pound per acre seeding rates I’m using some seed treatments and less foliar apps and saving a lot more money
