Mum recently got a new hair style due to myeloma cancer so I thought I would join her and raise some money in the mean time! https://t.co/nr3wXNFV24 if you are feeling generous.
@realIrishLyre @NUCLRGOLF But when it’s Rose’s honour?
I respect getting your players line but you cannot put the honoured player off, that is rule number one for a caddy
@nickmomrik@DataGolf@bschaf12 I see-thanks!
I’m also interested in the data set used this week - does it change from PGA tour average to Ryder Cup average? Considering these are (basically) the 24 best players on tour?
Data can prepare but I don’t think it can tell a story for the Ryder Cup
@DataGolf@bschaf12 (Again honest question) does this take into account alternative shot distribution. Example hitting ‘easier’ wedge shots in foursomes this morning, compared to your partner that might have longer shots in?
Also how does it work gimmies? Or is it auto make?
@brucekenerson1@jamierkennedy Very unfortunate. Let’s hope there are not as many beers sold tomorrow afternoon.
Someone needs to remind them they have work on Monday!
@ColoradoBucFan@jamierkennedy@RyderCupUSA I think it’s because 10 of our players? have come from Euro tour and proved themselves before getting to PGA Tour
Look at players like Griffen, Henley (although great players) they have come from relative nothing to very high hights, EU have had more pressure in their career
@brucekenerson1@jamierkennedy Sorry for my ignorance- is this expected with the NY crowd? It was very different at Whistling Straights but I mainly put that down to Covid.
@jamierkennedy@RyderCupUSA There are 26 million golfers in the US, compared to 11 in EU, their issues isn’t with quantity it’s with quality in the Ryder Cup.
Out of curiosity- how much foursomes/match play golf is played growing up in the US? In the UK there is a lot!
@ColoradoBucFan@jamierkennedy@RyderCupUSA There are 25million golfers in the US and 11 in Europe. Americas issue isn’t with numbers it’s with quality!
