I pray that I can shut my mouth, open my ears, and open my heart to listen, to learn, and to love all who have suffered and continue to suffer for the color of their skin.
You are fearfully and wonderfully made and you are beautiful.
A @CBSSports exclusive w/ @Isaac__Trotter: The most comprehensive investigation into CBB's NIL/money market to date.
We contacted more than 100 sources across the industry to find out who's spending the most, the least, and everyone in between.

@Robfromthaville Whew man. You aren’t lying; I recently reconnected with an old friend from out of state because he and I both realized that we only had coworkers and acquaintances around us.
@GatorBen54@EnduranceEgo Do they though? My team (UofL) is not good this year, yet it lost to Ol Miss by 3. Does that mean that UofL is better than Mizzou who Ol Miss beat by 28? Or LSU who Ol’ Miss beat by 8?
No, but UofL is 6th the ACC. Ol’ Miss is 3rd in SEC.
This is why the games matter.
Week 7 Conference Strength Ratings
The Big 12 is coming! The gap to the Big Ten is as tight as it has been in years and closing fast. There is still an elite tier keeping the Big Ten ahead, but we just saw what BYU did to an equivalently rated ND. Look out!
@rosspro@GoCards@LouisvilleFB Louisville fans already drink too much and spend a crap ton of money for crappy beer. Lowering the price may result in drunker fans, but it won’t generate more money and would likely make the stadium experience WORSE.
@worxerrtime@RandomCranehdx If that were the case, then conference commissioners and TV execs wouldn’t be carving up college football. We have reshaped the sport to allow networks to maximize profit with a progressively narrow focus.
@soccerbil I agree, but it is choking the life out of the sport outside of 2/3 of the SEC & 5-6 other brands. The media and TV would prefer to only cover the top 20-25 brands -regardless of real on field success- than to have to actually pay attention to college football at large.
@Coachhedge@David2APatriot Not SoS, they’re adding in Strength of Conference which is a newer metric and a terrible idea since conference schedules are imbalanced and are based largely off of preseason rankings and “vibes.”
SEC has to be the softest league.
You have the most resources and best athletes and all you do is complain about how hard it is.
You created this league.
That’s on you!
I think ESPN and the SEC genuinely thought, when they grabbed Texas and Oklahoma, that they would have picked up all the other biggest brands and formed it's own separate league by now.
The plan hasn't panned out.
“Hey, let’s create a super conference with the biggest brands”
“It’s not fair that we tear each other apart weekly”
You chose this, you get paid for this, stop bitching
@ragingaubie@TheRoyalePain The conferences ARE imbalanced, but that only punishes the fans. If TV revenue were to be equally distributed across the P4 (though we all know it will never happen) and flat access (top 3 from each conference get auto bids or whatever) then the conferences would rebalance.
