https://t.co/y8Z9etHCWa is going all-in on Computers for Agents.
The reason is pretty simple: we think that agents (within a few years) are going to determine how almost all software is built and shipped. Those agents are not going to be content with sandboxes. They're going to need real computers that can stick around, sit on the network, and reach the resources they depend on.
We already have 8,000 customers building agent products on Fly today. Now we're pouring gas on the fire, with $25M in new funding and a new CEO. Kurt personally recruited Scott Johnston—the guy who rebuilt Docker around devs—to come lead https://t.co/y8Z9etHCWa into this next phase while Kurt moves into an advisory role.
More to come, including two technical leaps forward that you can read about in Kurt's blog post. The TLDR is: we're just getting started.
I'm working on a https://t.co/UXKYy83oiB thing. AI code generator with:
✅ full IDE/terminal
✅ port forwards your spawned servers
✅ agent with root access (yes, really :)
Here's a multiplayer tic-tac-toe Phoenix LiveView app. I wrote zero lines of it! 🚀
@fredbradley@github Hah, I jumped into network debugging mode for a bit. I guess a year later the block is still there. @HIAQatar not good for software devs passing by.
What about using @livebookdev to spawn 64 machines with GPU on @flydotio, each machine fine-tuning BERT with different hyperparameters and graphing in realtime in 2-3 minutes? @cigrainger shows how at @ElixirConf!

My former team at @digitalocean got let go.
If you liked the content on DigitalOcean community, and you’re in the market for top notch technical writers and editors, contact me. I know fantastic people looking for work.
If I had open roles you wouldn’t see this message.
SQLite, but distributed! Tootle on over to https://t.co/A8MgRtnee3 for the goods, courtesy of @benbjohnson and @tqbf.
Coincidentally: LiteFS, an open-source distributed file system for SQLite, is “beta-ready”.
@flydotio
New blog post for you! @benbjohnson exposes the crunchy numbers inside an SQLite table! Turns out to be tasty-crunchy, like Pocky.

I open sourced a new SQLite replication tool I've been working on called LiteFS. It allows you to run multiple replicated nodes and hand-off leadership on the fly. It's still in the alpha stage but I'm looking for feedback. Thanks! https://t.co/mPsmxHlHpi
👀 LiteFS has been released in alpha. Go @benbjohnson!
“LiteFS is a FUSE-based file system for replicating SQLite databases across a cluster of machines.”
Check out the repo, or just the great README! https://t.co/p95b6YAcSh
Hecho moco. Compro en AliExpress y tarda menos
