@peterrhague@ianpatterson99 I'm unsure the beef+onion burger would be collected for frozen beef burger prices, since it doesn't match the item description. But I'm not the ONS ๐คท
The ONS technical manual is interesting if you have some time to kill https://t.co/lSFFFFz7mc
TRANSCRIPT: The full text of me and @tracyalloway's chat with @dsquareddigest about how the world lost its mind.
The concept of Accountability Sinks is so powerful, once you start noticing them.
Here's an example that lead to the murder of 400 squirrels https://t.co/GL73IGs6fu
@WarrenJWells@despair @GeorgistSteve Valve do occasionally talk about running their economies, e.g. https://t.co/neusXVD4vI, but I'm sure there's a lot of internal information that could be interesting.
@despair @GeorgistSteve I often think about how something that's the intersection of Factorio, OpenTTD, and Cities Skylines could be interesting.
The audience for such a thing can't be very big, though.
@tom_forsyth@ngildea85@PierreTerdiman This isn't true unfortunately, ask me how I know..
It's definitely not allowed for `this` to be null, and compilers will optimise around that assumption. e.g: https://t.co/D34KpDZd8X
@TylerGlaiel It is often useful if the person managing you has some idea of what your job is about, even if they aren't actively doing the same thing any more, since they set and manage expectations elsewhere.
Even better if they occasionally catch up with what the job is about.
@TylerGlaiel Organizations with some awareness understand there is value to a "non-manager" path.
Though it's still often about being accessible to others about a particular topic or area, just not climbing the org chart.
@planet4589@carolynporco Potentially beyond that, if there is significant traffic between A and B, odds of there being enough capacity for detection and redirection are higher (imo).
@chetfaliszek @JesseKellyDC The replies you're getting to these tweets are something else, I have a hard time believing they're from actually humans.
They don't seem to engage with anything you actually said, just emit vague rudeness.
@Jon94790205 @DJSnM The targets glow extremely brightly compare with other things in direct sunlight.
Lots of pictures of the Ivanpah plant on the Wiki page. Even the atmosphere is glowing.

@SebAaltonen@svelle1@phys_ballsocket Desk phones do still exist. The people being born today will probably not see any phone handsets at home, at least.
