@nashienet Yeah even in isolation what does it say about Labour internal machinery if someone with a proven record of losses is just annointed leader? Wreaks of elitism / favoritism that the party is supposed to be antithetical of. Guess they got tired of the wrong answer from the members!

@nashienet It’s been a while for me wrt UK politics, but how exactly can it be legit that the leader changes and all of a sudden we have an effective manifesto reset and this is apparently fine? Labour won based on their campaigning and now it’s being rug pulled?

@hmemcpy I did wonder why Petrucci came out with a scent recently, I didn’t realize other guitarists had gone down this route… when I think of rock/metal concerts, nice fragrances isn’t the first thing that comes to mind.

I also believe the Reform vote is going to balloon over the next few years, and the next election will be a Labour/Liberal Democrat coalition going against a Farage-led Reform/Conservative coalition.

Even though I don’t live there anymore, I find myself worrying less about the UK since @UKLabour got in power. I don’t believe it’s possible for them to do all they claim, but having adults behind the wheel is reassuring.
