@coopuk your stores need a good clean. Visited this one, with only one staff member working. No manned tills open & one working self service till. Walked out because no one to serve, to be honest not sure I'd want to buy food anyway.
@OctopusEnergy I have 2 locations on Shape Shifters Agile, so far the rates are still under what would have been our standard business pricing. We're less affected by the evening peak prices anyway.
@sarah_go_green@Ccashbacklover It's 6p, not 13p. That's a 10.5p drop from where it was. That said, some older Next Drive tariffs weren't smart. Most of these expire in the spring, however it's very clear Eon are trying preventing the charge/discharge cycling unless you're on their Solar Max tariff.
@paullewismoney I have a client paying between 0.4%-0.8% on credit & debit cards. But on premium cards this rises to around 2.2%. But, factor in cash paid to their bank is charged at 1.6% and the closest 'branch' is a one counter post office, accepting card payments is cheaper.
@paullewismoney Our renewal was early this year, obligatory look around and found a couple of cheaper quotes. Called current insurers, the call announcement stated 'we can't do cheaper on the phone', asked them to not auto-renew. Funny enough they then offered £120 less to stay.
@OctopusEnergy Got one but never got it to work, even though we have a smart meter. The smart meter is definitely there as we're on Shape Shifters Agile too.
@paullewismoney Weirdly the price can vary too. Pay by card - one price, via the charge point app - another price. Pay via another App - another price. I found a location in Scotland was 20p cheaper per kWh if I paid indirectly. Madness!
@DanNeidle None of this is surprising. The 'system' is great at picking up on minor infractions by legitimate companies. But blindingly obvious fraud just seems to bypass everything. We once reported wrongdoing to CH, they couldn't have been more disinterested!
@OctopusEnergy@coopuk Tried at the staffed till, coupon was 'invalid'. Member of staff said they've had a few and none worked. This was the Monkston Park Co-op.
@BurtyBird@paullewismoney We had an employer in last week for a payroll review. His NIC bill will be an extra £38.8k. It's a small business with lots of part time staff. He knows other companies with illegal employment practices will undercut his prices now, cash in hand 'self employed' workers.
@Johnnyr1970@agilepredict Unfortunately those plants were end of life, although might have limped along a few more years if they hadn't been told to shut down. Problem is no one wants generating stations in their back yard.
@Feargal_Sharkey@paullewismoney@YorkshireWater They are very naughty, someone should write them a strongly worded letter in their best handwriting, that would teach them. Oh, another 'storm outflow',........
@StarbucksUK love the feedback receipts you issue offering money off your next purchase. It's a shame the same location that issued it won't accept it a few days later.
