@AppleSupport How can I "unsubscribe" from the ads for Apple Arcade that has been haunting me for months now? In Settings, App Store and at the bottom of order confirmation emails.
@KagiHQ I've read about fingerprinting on your FAQ, and it's great that you can prevent many JS-based fingerprinters from running, but it looks like I'm still uniquely identifiable using basic HTTP header attributes. Couldn't you give the user some control over what is shared?
@dwarkesh_sp Sam Harris occasionally narrates his blog posts on the "Making Sense" podcast. These episodes, showcasing his more thoroughly considered content, are among my favorites.
@dwarkesh_sp Yes. Thought I'd like to, I know I'm not going to read you blog posts, or have them read to me except if they appear in your podcast feed. And there, AI narration, however well-trained, will lack your emphasis, and generally feel unauthentic.
@AppleSupport I'm using Kagi as my default search engine with Safari for iOS. Occasionally I want to use Google instead, but I can't. Even after going to https://t.co/gLQbE2YjF4 and entering my query there, I get redirected to my default search engine. This seems like a bug.
@pycharm I really love the look and feel of the new UI, but please don't hide "Evaluate expression" behind one extra click. I live in the debugger and use that feature dozens of times daily! Also, please make it open with the selected text, like it used to.
@EvadingEvasions @vladquant What makes you think AI can't be truly intelligent? We are intelligent, and our brain is a machine, so why couldn't a slightly different kind of machine also be? Artificial neural nets are inspired by the brain, and might become more and more similar over time.
@vladquant I see. There are solutions for automatic cross posting that you might be interested in at some point. Not sure how they deal with incoming mentions and replies. https://t.co/ReO05MHifE
@vladquant are you on Mastodon yet? If not, any other Kagi team members tooting about Kagi? Or follow-able hashtags? Kagi updates is the only thing still missing in my Mastodon feed.
@vladquant I recently needed to find the rules surrounding owning and renting out a property in Latvia. I had to come up with English search terms, translate them with Google Translate, paste them in Kagi, and then translate the results back to English to find the most relevant results.
@Gabriel26547618@mouette@driscollis The default value is evaluated when the function is declared, not when it is called. So when 2 is appended, it is appended to the object the default points to. Meaning the second time the function is called, the default is actually [2].
@poopomics @bert_hu_bert Yeah, but you can't. A simple GET used to fetch autocomplete suggestions could be logged and linked to the users profile. There's no way to tell.
@iandoingtweets @bert_hu_bert This video makes it salient just how much Google am know about us. There are several analytics solutions available that doesn't also track people across different domains and uses that info to build up profiles for advertising purposes.
@TreblesandBlues, do you still curate the music over at Code Radio? If so, please feel free to include more of your own music! Anak would fit in perfectly, for example.
@Fly_Norwegian Takk for svar.
