@razzz_med I definitely don’t agree with the lower intelligence part, and maybe your strength won’t be managing patients outside of an OR, but I guarantee you don’t want us non-surgeons managing patients in an OR! Play to each of our strengths and support each other! ❤️
@emily_fri This is a tough situation. I’ve encountered it myself. Sometimes there’s no avoiding multiple infusions for seizures. If we know the outcome, I work with the family to give the patient a dignified end of life. If it is a last kiss with infusions but no ETT, I respect it.
In 2019, I was a CVICU patient in cardiogenic shock due to fam cardiomyopathy. Had to get a heart transplant!
This week, I’m a doctor in a CVICU. Got my Crit Care Medicine #fellowship diploma, & have a few shifts left. 🥹
Huge thank you to my #organdonor for this. #donatelife

@naummalik Congratulations!!!! I know few people who are as dedicated, hardworking and caring as you Nauman. Patients and families will have a true champion on their side with you.
@DavidJuurlink Because of you, I ask every resident I work with what they know about Tramadol and I’m surprised how little people know about what they are prescribing. Thanks for making me more informed!
@JaymeeShell Screen for any concerning features of back pain. Do a full set of vitals. Check your creatinine and start a PPI. Arrange for close follow up. You’ve got this!!!!
