@BriannaWu Because the left has no real platform in the United States. We have two right-wing parties. The democrats adopt left-wing “goals” and then walk them back or blame a rotating villain for why they can’t do it. The reality is they really don’t want to.

@b67070877 Interesting take, what did you like better about it? I liked both but thought midnight mass was really really compelling. Bly manor is a little more of a haunted cottage core story for me which I do like but there were parts that took me out of it.

We are rewatching bly manor but let’s face it that’s the worst of the three even if it’s gay. That’s the best thing about it tbh!! Mike Flanagan writes really great characters imo

We have now rewatched both Midnight Mass and Hill House. I forgot how much I loved Haunting of Hill House, it’s so gorgeous and well done, highly recommend!
