What can KC and STL learn from each other? How can the two cities work together?
On a recent trip to KC I sat down with @MayorLucasKC to talk about what Missouri's major metro areas can do to move forward. Watch the full interview tonight at 6:30 on @KMOV
NEW POST
Like me, Sumeet Gayathri Moghe is tired of poor presentations with bad slide decks. He's started to write a series of posts on how to avoid these calamities, beginning with a post that questions whether a presentation is needed at all.

Photographed in 1996, a very different Union Station than you see today. At the time, the building stood abandoned, in disrepair, and under threat of demolition.
Later that year, voters in Jackson, Clay, and Platte counties in Missouri and Johnson County in Kansas approved a one-eighth-cent bi-state sales tax to restore and redevelop Union Station and create a science museum. The tax raised $118 million toward the total $250 million project. Its passage is believed to have been the first of its kind in the history of the United States.
Thanks to the historic bi-state tax and substantial donor support, Union Station was saved from demolition and restored to its former glory, reopening to the public on November 10, 1999.
Jimmy Kimmel and other late-night comedians have certainly said things about me that I found offensive, even outrageous.
It never crossed my mind to call up the networks and say, "Hey, get rid of this guy." Because that's not how America works.

Nothing will kill more children than the ongoing decimation of CDC, NIH, and USAID work to lift vaccine uptake in the US and world.
Child survival rose 75% in the last 50 years. Vaccines account for 40% of that. Measles vax alone was 60% of the benefit. https://t.co/GgQeCuAcJc

Now, the one-of-a-kind arena is preparing to host the @NWSL Championship. @danajacobson got an up-close look at the meaning behind CPKC Stadium: “You want everyone to have a home here.”

He was the worst President in history. And when he got voted out, he tried to stage a coup. Then he stole national secrets and sold the ones he didn't store in the bathroom.
He was convicted of fraud, found liable of sexual assault and convicted of 34 felonies. He is half a billion dollars in debt, owned by God only knows who, and the biggest national security risk the nation has ever had.
But at least he's not a Black woman.
Kansas City has $2.5 BILLION of development breaking ground over the next 6 months! Here are 10 of my favorites (in no particular order, all numbers subject to change, a🧵):
