@Oink_the_cat@JohnZarling@vintagemapstore I think the guy making the map intentionally did this to drive engagement. It's a crappy map, and he knows it. You guys just give him views so he will do it more. Case in point, how is this map "Vintage" in any way?
@GoklipJames@EricLDaugh For some reason Trump's endorsements in Iowa have been pretty pro "establishment". I wonder who's giving him advice on the state.
@JabrahamLinKoln@tylerbowyer@TPAction@ZachLahn@grok I've never understood the "took money from XYZ" thing. If my enemies want to give my (nonexistent) campaign, great! Less for them; more for the good guys!
@am3_rica1@GraduatedBen No runoffs. Only if no candidate gets 35% of the voted it'd be decided by the delegates at the state GOP convention on the 13th. Looks like that won't be needed.
@WhskyHawk@BWBets21@ZachLahn@iowademocrats Who cares if a candidate is a blue collar this or a billionaire that? How he's going to help ICE deport the 50 million people that shouldn't be in this country?
@jamespe13266164@JudyStroyer808 So... I vote for (as far as I can tell) the most conservative candidate in the GOP primary (Sherman), and you take that as a message saying "[I] want to help elect a commie"?!? Okay, sure thing dude.โ๏ธ
@jamespe13266164@JudyStroyer808 I disagree. Even a write-in vote of "John Doe" sends a message. A small message to be sure; however, they can materialize in the aggregate.
I notice you chose to respond but didn't suggest a good option - you only spoke negatively of my choice. Why?
@hulda03@GigaBeers@TTysonToni1@grok The pension rules for Congress were set in the 1940s - 25 yrs before Ryan was even born. The poster either 1) didn't care to Google for 10 seconds to get the important context or 2) choose to omit that information from the post to misconstrue the facts.
@GigaBeers I don't like Paul Ryan either, but US members of Congress get their pensions after only 5 years of service. A quick Google tells you the Legislative Reorganization Act of 1946 set that in place 25 yrs before Ryan was even born.
@jamespe13266164@JudyStroyer808 Involved IA GOP voter here. I'm leaning Sherman in the primary, but I'm kind of "anyone but Feenstra" right now. Feensta's skipped every event in my area except a single special members only/no questions allowed/just give a 3 min speech and dip thing.
@BlakeSNeff There is a big difference between being against data centers and being against data centers within 5 miles of residential zones. They produce a ton of noise pollution (including freqs below what humans hear), light pollution, water pollution, etc.
@TheInternetFish Are there videos where he does more impressive stuff? Calling him the "Ronaldo of Excel" from this clip is like watching some speedrun through single digit multiplication tables and calling him the "Ronaldo of Math". What was the most advanced thing he did? A sort hotkey?
@Autism_Squared@TheICHpodcast Audits are driven more by the nature of the return (unreasonable deductions, unusual income sources, and even the distribution of leading digits - see Benford's Law) than by the gross income of the return.
@ShepherdMaxing@RealJamesWoods "Precinct chairs" control the party at the county level which is the foundation of power in the state and national parties. RINOs hold a disproportionate number of those chairs which gives them a ton of power. Too many Conservatives don't even know those positions exist.
