@FawnPoet I have experimented with using AP style guidelines in fiction. While it would certainly not fit well in all genres, I have been working on a thriller involving journalists, politicians, police, etc. I've found that AP style has given it a snappy delivery that suits the tone.

@MemoirJoyGirl Write often. If you need a day off from your current project, don't set aside the task of writing altogether; write something else. An email, a poem, a summary of a recent event or a simple pontification, all can keep your writing sharp when your imagination needs a rest.
