@wcdispatch Students whose families can afford private school education perform better than those who can’t? Shocking! It must be those private school teachers doing a better job! Please try teaching in an inner city school and tell me that a private school teacher deserves more pay.
@CPyles8 If you want pure wrestling RAf ain’t it and that’s fine. It’s entertainment that has gained the attention of a larger audience. A pure wrestling league has not worked and if you can live with some gimmicks and not take it too seriously I think RAF makes for good entertainment
@tlschwerz He’s got 3 hits this season. Yes, all for extra bases but he’s had mostly horrible at bats. This lineup is so bad though you might be right about moving him up.
@luke_westfall_@MrPatMineo Berge should have one more year. Graduated HS in 22 and took a redshirt 23. Competed the last 3. Ruth I think is trying to get a medical but I’ve heard it’s unlikely.
@wrestlingnomad There’s always something and the logistics of changing the tournament date probably isn’t worth it. Personally would love to see it change to a one semester sport with dual championship in March and individual in May but that’s an entirely different conversation 😂
@wrestlingnomad That’s fair. I don’t think viewership explodes on a different weekend but it certainly wouldn’t hurt. I’m not sure what evidence would exist to be honest besides the common sense of not competing with one of the biggest sporting events of the year.
@Turbo_Durbo1 I’m not even sure what your point is because you can say that about any sport but many NFL athletes did wrestle including Wirfs and Linderbaum and Humphrey and none of them were close to the best in the country. Wirfs lost to Iowas backup who was half his size.
@LilSpideyBoy@wrestlingnomad I think you’ll see both types of matches most likely. The guys who think they can score off scrambles like Vega will want the middle. Other guys who like to push will try to score by pushing haha.
@LilSpideyBoy@wrestlingnomad Tough to scramble when you can literally walk a guy off for a point. Guys will adapt a bit but I see both guys being content with getting a point and not giving up 3. I think it works in freestyle because it’s about exposure and big moves which can actually be easier in the edge
