Spent the last two days on special right triangles. Most students despised learning the formulas. So, they'll either love or hate this upcoming Tuesday. Ignore the P.I.I (Thanks Dave for helping me not get sued)
@Anna_PBanana I'm teaching this tomorrow haha. If you're doing both, you could cut out a bunch of 45-45-90 and 30-60-90 triangles and have students pair up and match each triangle to which one it goes with. Then you can either have students measure or measure the lengths yourself beforehand...
I feel that unless quizzes are meant to be like tests, we should really explain common misconceptions after the quiz is taken. I myself haven't had this experience, but if quizzes are meant to see where students are at in learning the material, shouldn't we use that knowledge?
So I did test positive. Feel almost nothing now but 2-3 days ago was pretty bad. Mom's getting better thankfully. It's always scary when you don't know what's coming.
@Anna_PBanana Well I definitely didn't get that email. Isn't it important for stuff like this to be sent to everyone ๐ค Thank you for sharing though!
Really wondering if SCSU is gonna extend break or have school be fully online for a bit. I should probably ask my student teaching coordinator what happens in that case. Or even if my cooperating school goes online. Hmm.
One thing I do need to work on though is creating more efficient lesson plans. I feel that the ones I make are great, but they take quite a while to make. Does anyone have any tips for lesson plan writing? #ecet2
