The AI names get the headlines. My watchlist goes beyond GPUs—27 companies across nine growth themes.

27 stocks across 9 growth themes:
Data centers: $NBIS $CRWV robinhood:0xf0ab0c93be6f41369d302e55db1a96b3c430212d
Healthcare: $LLY $ISRG $HIMS
Cybersecurity: $CRWD $PANW $ZS
Memory & storage: $MU $SNDK $WDC
Energy: $BE $VST $CEG
Software: $PLTR $ZETA $SNOW
Robotics: $TER $AMBA $SYM
Optical networking: $LITE $COHR $CIEN
Semis: $NVDA $AMD $AVGO
Bullish themes—but valuation, funding and execution still matter.

I’m spending more time on $MU and $LITE. Memory and optical connectivity deserve attention alongside GPUs.

$CEG — this Google deal gives the bulls something tangible.

A 20-year power agreement supporting 890 MW of new nuclear capacity strengthens the long-term demand case. First uprates are expected in 2028, so this is a multiyear catalyst, not overnight earnings.

Oct. 6, 8:28 a.m. ET: $293.05 premarket, +9.50%. Green futures and easing yields add a supportive backdrop.

Price is above yesterday’s 25-day MA ($270.87) and 50-day MA ($271.34). Holding that reclaim after the bell would be an encouraging technical shift.

My levels:
• $280–285: pullback zone to watch for buyers.
• $300–305: next resistance.
• Sustain a break above $305: $320–328 comes into play.
• Lose $270–271: reassess.

I like the catalyst and the improving setup. A controlled pullback that holds would make this more interesting than chasing the opening spike.

Chart: daily candles through Oct. 5.

@ZainAkrams I want to hear what Marvell expects to earn from those custom chip deals. Could change how I look at it alongside Broadcom.

[Daniel Lawson @Daniel_Lawson__]

Eight names on my screen. Different reasons to own them.

Oct. 5 was split: $VST +3.46%, $MSTR +2.75%, $AVGO +2.10%, while $IREN fell 3.02% and $MU slipped 1.01%. Looks selective to me—not a buy-everything market.

$AVGO — Custom AI chips and networking. Fiscal Q3 AI semiconductor revenue grew 221% YoY.

$VST — AI needs reliable power. Its 20-year Meta nuclear agreements give that thesis substance.

$MSTR — My Bitcoin watch, not an AI trade. Strategy reported 848,000 BTC as of Oct. 4. Financing costs and valuation still matter.

$IREN — AI cloud upside, but execution comes first. Contracted capacity isn’t realized revenue, and the weak tape deserves respect.

$AMZN — AWS grew 37% in Q2. Watching how much growth survives the infrastructure bill.

$MRVL — AI connectivity and custom silicon. Oct. 6 Investor Day is in focus after 46% data-center revenue growth in fiscal Q2.

$NOW — Enterprise AI with a subscription business behind it. Q2 subscription revenue grew 24.5%.

$MU — Record fiscal Q4 results keep the memory thesis interesting. A pullback is worth studying, not automatically buying.

Constructive over the next 6–12 months if earnings keep catching up with expectations. Good businesses still need sensible entry prices.

@cryptojack Base’s $4.7B in net inflows stands out, curious how much of that turns into lasting activity. Appreciate you and @Daniel_Lawson__ for helping me look beyond money flowing in to what actually keeps it there.

[WiscoSoldier 🇺🇲🇺🇲 @WiscoSoldier]

@septinvesting66 $ALEC dropping 27% despite the licensing headline is the move that caught my eye. Appreciate you and @Daniel_Lawson__ for reminding me to watch how price reacts, not just how good the news sounds.

[Alexander Graham @perfectscorpi0]

@TCMLLC Back to back accumulation days in $SPCX stand out after those 18 and 19 day gaps. Your updates and @Daniel_Lawson__’s strategy help me notice when a stock’s behavior changes, so thanks to you both.

[Leopold Stock Tracker @LeopoldTracker_]

Breaking: Leopold Aschenbrenner's options have expired

Two weeks ago, reports said Leopold opened 4 option positions in the following:

• Micron $MU: strike $1,000
• SanDisk $SNDK: strike $1,600
• Intel $INTC: strike $115
• Marvell $MRVL: strike $250

He paid $96M and all four expired in the money

47% return and profited about $45.6M in 2 weeks

Nasdaq closed at a record Monday with the 10-year at 5.31%.

Still watching the 2-year for Fed expectations, but higher yields clearly haven’t stopped buyers.

I’m staying selective here. Give me cash flow, manageable debt, and a price that leaves some room for a less-than-perfect quarter. $SPY $QQQ

[Daniel Lawson @Daniel_Lawson__]

The 2-year deserves a spot next to your stock watchlist.

Short-term Treasury yields are swinging as traders reassess the Fed’s next moves.

For $SPY and $QQQ, I’d be careful assuming a good earnings report can overcome any move in rates. A business can deliver while investors decide they’re willing to pay less for those earnings.

I’m still interested in profitable growth companies with manageable debt. They have more flexibility if borrowing stays expensive.

There’s money to be made without getting every Fed meeting right.

$MU — strong numbers, still waiting on price.

Friday's close: $1,074.89. The Oct. 5 premarket tape is softer as tech cools off and yields stay elevated.

The earnings case still looks good: $54.23B in fiscal Q4 revenue, with $60–63B guided for fiscal Q1. That's why this consolidation stays on my watchlist.

My levels:
• $1,040–1,050: support to defend.
• Daily close above $1,110: breakout confirmation.
• $1,140–1,160: next resistance if it clears.
• Below $1,030 on a daily close: reassess.

$VST was below $135 at one point Friday. Quite a turnaround seeing $148 overnight.

Curious what rate they get on that reported $4.2B loan—financing upgrades to plants already running sounds a lot more useful than another announcement about a reactor years away.

$VST up nearly 6% on reports it could receive $4B from the government to boost nuclear output.

$NBIS #NBIS Still a large volume shelf setup on the weekly candle chart.

Higher looks like the higher probability.

[Daniel Lawson @Daniel_Lawson__]

@KobeissiLetter Nasdaq up another 1.2% Friday. Hard to convince people to look elsewhere when US tech keeps delivering. Plenty of cheaper markets out there, but waiting for them to catch up can get old pretty fast.
