Estimating the impacts of several nested unknowns compounds complexity and reduces accuracy. Politicians tend to go optimistic. Good project estimators tend to go pessimistic, but they're not up for reelection.

@7hwrd @evandawson Except for the fact that this is a solved problem. Our health care costs skyrocket while outcomes tank. Medicare for all is the solution, as has been proven by every society with lower health costs and better outcomes.

@roderic And sure, would love to see the spreadsheets. I know that despite our omnipresent cloud-cover, we get UV rays. Should be able to calculate the feasibility given insolation rates (thanks Earth Science teacher, Mr. Twigg!) for upstate NY and your costs.
