@kevinhou22 I still love Antigravity but my Cursor sub is up June 6th. I was going to switch to AG full time. Now I feel like I have to consider cancelling my Google sub and re-upping Cursor because I can't afford another hiccup like the last one, which isn't the direction I want to go.
@kevinhou22 Your blind trust in the future broke the trust your users had in you.
Obviously I can't argue with the direction, but you plowed the car straight through the trees and didn't follow the curves in the road at your users' expense.
Travelling at 99.99999% of the speed of light a spaceship could cover 22000 light years in just 10 years of proper time. Nothing in known physics forbids this and there's no reason to believe a civilization existing tens of thousands or millions of years couldn't accomplish it.
@shadcn Oil change. Windshield wiper replacement. Car washing/detailing.
People can do these things themselves and yet having someone else do them is a multibillion dollar industry.
You are spot on, "Everyone will build their own" is hugely overstated.
@AdamBartas Before is way better, but After does indeed have cooler logos. If that green bar on the left doesn't open anything, it is wrong. "7668 entrepreneurs" turns off normies. Repeated claims was fine, people don't read. "Too many links", don't make users have to dig for info.
@whyrohitwhy@VGuardOfficial I have 3 ceiling fans in my whole house, 1 each in the office, bedroom and living room. I barely use the living room one and almost never use the others.
I had no idea that was common there!
@Eloise1041955 Ship it with a paywall. You already don’t have users.
One of two things will happen: 1, you’ll get paying users. Or 2, you continue to not have users but have time to figure out a pricing model that works better.
@jpschroeder Little papercuts. Just edges that weren't right. I wish I could remember what happened exactly.
It just felt like a previously abandoned project that was now being maintained by a great team but they didn't get everything.
Everyone who waited for "Codex Thursday" now understands how Windows users felt waiting for the Atlas browser, and the ChatGPT desktop app parity, and the initial Codex app release, and Computer Use for Codex. 🤣
@rubenssoto_ai I've been using @XiaomiMiMo and love it. It isn't 5.5 but Mimo is still great for most things. I have a free promo right now but am going to become a paying user when that lapses. I have a ref code if you want it for $2 free credits but it is super cheap anyway.
@mrblackstudio@nickbakeddesign Wow, I didn't realize any of your stuff was for sale. Usually people who are selling stuff beat their followers over the head with it. I'd say you have a lot of room to add some self promo.
@simpsoka It's like with an employee, sometimes you give them a task & want to supervise their every move, sometimes you want to let them just go.
This would make it easier to switch back and forth between those modes.
@simpsoka Maybe not a papercut but could we have a bit of a pseudo yolo-mode thing where we tell the app, "each time you ask for permission, if I don't answer within X seconds, go ahead and do it."
It would help me when I am waiting for Codex to finish but I'm off in the browser.
