As someone who has observed and adopted things before they have been publicly adopted I really hope that I am right about what I’m about to say.

I believe that the amount of people who truely value righteousness has exploded in recent times.

As the world has grown darker, as evil has been thrust right in front of our faces… undeniably so, many have seen the senselessness and personal destruction that living a duplicitous life brings. When all is well we can be tempted to see God’s ways as prohibitive, holding us back from pure enjoyment yet when evil flourishes and evil men are in control, then those with spiritual eyes can see how good, precious and truly beneficial God’s ways are. Romans 5:20 and Matthew 13.

I can foresee that there are many leaders waiting to break forth into public life of all kinds, politically, culturally, in business and in the Church. The righteousness of Christ in them wont allow them to compromise in the same ways that we see our compromised leaders behaving currently. They aren’t perfect by any means and as such will need accountability and the grace of God continually.

Could it be that God will allow such leadership to come into power in a way that has never happened globally in human history?

No one demonstrated this more than Christ, only submission to Christ’s love leads to true and lasting peace.

Peter confesses that Jesus is the Christ.
(This was a mountain top experience)

Not long after in Matthews writings Jesus calls Peter Satan for getting in the way of God's master plan. (This was a valley low experience)

A few verses over at the Transfiguration Peter (possibly seeking to make up for his past folly) asks if he should build three tents, one for Jesus, Moses and Elijah. God then speaks from a cloud Peter gets rightly scared and there's no more mention of his desire to build three tents.

Peter get's it wrong so much yet God uses him powerfully in the early Church. - There's hope for us yet!

Just landed in Victoria, grabbed our luggage and ran for the bus into Melbourne. First thing that comes over the loudspeaker is a welcome to country. Victoria has reached peak virtue signalling.

Don't be so concerned with what's happening out there that you neglect what's right in front of your face.

Make your bed, read your Bible, submit to God, love your family, take care of your health, chill your nervous system out every now and again.

Submission and obedience to God in the micro lead to change on the macro.

Don't seek to gain the whole world and lose your soul!

Churches arent willing to speak to difficult cultural issues so as to not cause offense that would distract from the gospel. People however are starting to ask difficult questions that may offend their current beliefs as they consider the bold claims of Christianity.
