@TonyNatif@nbstv The Firearms expert witness is not confident of his findings. He is finding extreme difficulties in defending conclusions in his report against a lawyer who probably has basic forensic science knowledge. He shouldn’t be head of a forensic department!
Adwong @Comrade_Otoa , I am more than happy to spend my June salary for lunch with you Sir! Am sure I'll leave the table with more than I paid for. Is tomorrow lunch too soon?
Institutionalized corruption has failed effective criminal investigations in Uganda. Such is a precursor to mob justice and crime proliferation!

My preliminary analysis shows limited appreciation and inconsistent application of forensic evidence among judges in the majority of criminal cases in Uganda. A review of potential wrongful convictions is urgently needed!

You can say that again @SilverKayondo. I won a University of London distance learning LLB scholarship in 2011 and obtained a QLD in 2014. Law Council is still sitting on my application to join LDC from 2019 to-date. I'll go where I am welcome-the English Bar!
Career choices are funny. I turned down a scholarship for LLB in the UK a decade ago because I didn't want to lose my connection base on my return to Uganda and having to go through all that LDC stress again. I'm now in a position where English law qualification would do wonders!
