@peter_lydon@PaulGarvey4@OKR1995@MrTs_NQTs@DeputyGrocott I agree respect is learnt in family initially, but from experience it’s also clear that when you model respect, warmth, fairness and are firm in these cases, children DO respond well… Takes time and patience but it works most of the time.
We have wondered, we have wandered, and we have raised almost £3K to fund philosophy clubs in schools, so young people can connect with others, enjoy learning and resist polarisation, misinformation and hate.@SAPERE_P4C

We were contacted recently by a school interested in applying P4C more in their outdoor learning initiatives. If this sounds like something which may also benefit your setting and pupils, our Thinking with Nature course might be of interest... https://t.co/tk02wWlrYp
@JustSarahHodges@alfiekohn Amazing! Do you have any thoughts you wouldn’t mind sharing? The question occupies my mind more than it should. Would love to hear/read what you have to say.

I understand what’s being said here about equity but fwiw, my favourite gifts to receive from students are handwritten notes and/or drawings - even if on a bit of lined paper they found in the classroom. I’m sure most colleagues would agree.
SO proud of these two and what an honour it has been to work with such motivated and inspiring people. Thanks to @BROHT1 and @BroughtonPhilos for all the support as well - what a joy to be part of this community.
