@SW_Help and even assisting passengers with finding phone numbers for local taxi firms to continue their journeys. Great guy who takes his job seriously, but not too seriously, and is up for a bit of a joke with passengers. He's a credit to your company.
@SW_Help shout out to your guard Michael on 1T65 tonight. Delayed 2 hours plus at Botley, due to the issue at Cosham. He did a great job of passing on what little information he received to passengers, as well as being present on the platform to answer questions, 1/2

OCKLEY: Disruption is now expected until Monday 16th February after a landslip damaged the railway between Horsham and Dorking.
The slip, on an embankment to the south of Ockley station, has meant that the two tracks on the line have been left impassable by trains - but Network Rail and its contractors are working around the clock to repair the embankment.
@SouthernRailUK customers are advised to check before they travel for the next few weeks, as there will be changes to train services. During the closure, rail replacement buses and ticket acceptance with a local bus operator will continue to be in operation until the work is complete and lines reopen.

My advice would be to not leave it until the (1/2)
@wobblyclark@UKLabour@SW_Help This was far from ideal, and I sympathise with the delay to your journey, it was the only way of getting trains through. Now the engineering works are completed, the line in the affected area, has now been closed until at least the end of service this Friday, to allow clear up.
@wobblyclark@UKLabour@SW_Help The diversionary route. Trains between Victoria and Gatwick, were being severely delayed at Dorking, due to having to wait for a member of Network Rail staff to arrive on the service the opposite direction, to guide the driver through the affected area at caution. I've never had to say farewell to a train that I have worked with in my career before... Yesterday was something really special.
Goodbye 455s ❤️💙🧡
It was great to meet a lot of people, including our very own @apjackson75
