It is five years since NIPANC was officially launched at the Mater Hospital in #Belfast.
Many things have changed since that day; including the loss of our founding President Professor Jim Dornan who sadly died on 15 March 2021, but our core mission remains the same:
This week marks the end of an era as we say good bye to Professor Ken Mills, Chair of Experimental Haematology at QUB as he starts his retirement.
Ken has been an integral part of blood cancer research at QUB for the last sixteen years, a valued colleague, mentor and friend. 1/2
Wishing you the very best for your retirement Ken. Thank you for all your amazing work at @QUBelfast over the years. Enjoy some well deserved you time! 🙂 #LoveQUBstaff

@MartinSLewis Won’t handouts just end up going to further boost the profits of the energy companies? Better to reduce tax for the less well off and pay for it by taxing the energy companies.
