@GameSack @PaulsGamingLive @dark1x I used to hate that "motion flow" on TVs. But that was over a decade ago.

I still have it off.

But 5 years ago my GF bought a new TV. And I actually don't mind it there - at least on its lowest setting. It even improved some stuttery scenes

Maybe they did it after Earth reestablished a connection to the Federation as a reminder of the old times and a better future.

It is just an easter-egg.

But if we want to take it seriously, then we barely have any information. We don't know if this is a franchise, we don't know if this is related to that Quark, etc.

Let's not jump to conclusions :)
