@Love4Yo95312565 Sorry to disappoint you. The quote was a friendly comment to a Commissioner about the danger of publicly stating potential causes rather than waiting for experts to weigh in. I too was horrified when I saw how the quote was juxtaposed with the professors research.
The Miami-Dade County #Elections Department is proceeding with the #Surfside Municipal Elections today from 7:00am to 7:00pm on the second-floor of our Town Hall Commission Chambers, located at 9293 Harding Avenue. Parking is available in the municipal lot adjacent to Town Hall.
Accordingly, I have decided that I will not be setting up a tent in the Town Hall parking lot to greet voters as I have typically done on Election Day. I am & will remain available at 3052986568 to answer any questions you may have about my record & priorities for another term. 5
#EarlyVoting polls are open for our Town of #Surfside elections! You can #vote today from 11:00am – 7:00pm with polls open every day this week. Surfside voters can #VoteEarly at any early voting location in #MiamiDade County – to learn more please visit: https://t.co/ehQDUARX9o
Did you receive my last email about our efforts to address #SeaLevelRise and #ClimateChange in #Surfside? Learn more about some of the local #Environmental Ordinances I've helped to pass as your neighbor + mayor! https://t.co/I7gvSti4gb
I was proud to represent Surfside as a panelist at the @MiamiChamber – Resilient Solutions Summit on Feb. 28 where I discussed how #Surfside is implementing resilient solutions through planning, education, building coalitions, infrastructure & strengthening our sense of community
Proudly serving with elected colleagues aligned in our responsibility, with a capable administration, an engaged community, and willing NGO partners, to face our climate-related challenges. Thank you for acknowledging our work!
This #MayorMonday goes out to Mayor @danieldietch in Surfside, FL. Through its new resilience fund, this coastal city is helping residents assess and mitigate the risks associated with climate change. #ClimateMayors https://t.co/p7A4nbgWcT
Congrats Mayor @danieldietch for joining the #Resilient305 initiative and doubling down on your commitment to building a stronger @SurfsideFlorida through investment in the arts and culture and the adoption of environmentally friendly practices to protect our future.
