@lolnvmtho It is incredibly painful as an old gen Z to be compared to the brocolli hair, iPad-baby Fortnite generation. There is a clear distinction. My peers and I didn't have smart phones until high school and we can actually read and write.
@sagefleur I work in an office and it genuinely feels like I'm getting brain damage from having to present a fake happy facade every day while surrounded by the most evil, toxic people imaginable. I fr can't remember what it felt like to have real interactions with real human beings.
@ShriekingNoises Almost all business ventures are irrational undertakings that offer very bad ROI compared to just investing your money. Anyone who makes it lives on nothing but survivorship bias that exponentially compounds every day.
@sjryanwriter@vivian39_ Lol retard, pull up every single oil storage and distribution center (hint: there are many more of those than these facilities and they are everywhere). If the one near my house was bombed the explosion would literally kill hundreds of thousands of people.
@_LukeCSkywalker@Bitcoin_Teddy Inflation is to you guys what per capita is to black people. Take your wage in the 80s and compare that to the median rental unit. Now do McDonalds wages to the current. The current housing to starting job ratio is multiples higher. It's very simple.
@bubbleboi I work with these guys and it's hilarious to see them do their "bottom up investing" song and dance, then all pile into the same hype stuff as you could read on here or any investment discord but months after price movement actually happens.
@eonmoss@timbutterly The stock of housing where I am at shows that when they don't have a job they don't pay for any services. So many old houses that could be sold for 600+ left to rot due to a regional downturn in the 90s.
@keeperofthewall@HarmlessYardDog@GrainStats ... for deflated wages as everyone piles in and lower margins on any activity as demand is destroyed. When I worked for an audit firm I saw thousands of service industry payrolls and the door is already closing. The asset/labor price ratio death spiral will continue.
@Ironic_Ape@RealJakeBroe Best they will ever do is SNAP and section 8 vouchers and those already exist but the price to access them is your potential to ever own assets + your dignity. If you move to Mass and pretend to be retarded and make no money you can achieve this lifestyle easily right now.
