@sm You can get an iPhone and put it in guided access mode. This way they only see the apps and contacts you manage . This is the most restrictive mode. At the same time you still get the find my app feature

The dead horse I will continue to beat: instructors cannot detect AI writing reliably:
1) Detectors don’t work & accuse non-native speakers of cheating👇
2) You can’t ask AI to detect AI writing, it will hallucinate
3) If you “use your gut” you are going to used biased heuristics

@emollick @simonw That’s why we are building https://t.co/yWVWROd0ZY. An editor that lets teachers see how a paper was built, detects pasting and uses ai to uncover unnatural typing paterns ( to detect visually copying from another browser)

@jamonholmgren I’m Portugal , the maximum prison sentence we have for ANY crime is 25 years . This is because we had a dictatorship that would imprison people for anything.All prson sentences in America are crazy to me.

@DynamicWebPaige I have been in Berlin for nearly 10 years. It's great. City itself is very diverse, no neighbourhood is the same. No matter what you are interested in, you will find it here. Tech community is very good. Public transportation is great.

@bandholz At a food delivery platform we had voucher 123456 . Was supposed to be internal user only. Was published in a forum. We only noticed because it was at 10pm and traffic spiked. Still lost 100k because restaurants had delivered food before we turned off the site

@GergelyOrosz Having tech offices in Argentina makes sense if you make a revenue there . Because of government controls you can’t get the money out of the country, but you can pay devs to build software that’s is used worldwide.
