Deutsche Rüstungsexporte nach Israel sind keine Einbahnstraße

Die Entscheidung der Bundesregierung, Rüstungsexporte nach Israel teilweise zu stoppen, ergibt strategisch überhaupt keinen Sinn.

Zunächst einmal: Kann man unterscheiden zwischen dem, was im Gazastreifen zum Einsatz kommt und was nicht?

Zweites die Größenordnung: Seit Oktober 2023 hat Deutschland Waffen im Volumen von 480 Millionen Euro nach Israel geliefert. Das ist im Vergleich zu dem, was im Gazakrieg bisher ausgegeben wurde und noch ausgegeben werden wird, ein Klacks. Mit anderen Worten: Das ist mehr Symbolpolitik.

Zumal offenbar vergessen wird, dass auch die Bundesrepublik Deutschland in drei Bereichen von israelischem Militär-Wissen profitiert: das sind Anti-Raketen-Raketen, Drohnen und die Prävention im Anti-Terror-Kampf. So zu tun, als ob es sich bei den deutschen Waffenlieferungen um eine Einbahnstraße handele, ist absolut falsch.

Am heutigen Tag ist beschlossen worden, dass es in Deutschland einen Nationalen Sicherheitsrat geben wird. Der ist dringend notwendig, was man daran sieht, dass diese Entscheidung des Bundeskanzlers strategisch überhaupt keinen Sinn macht.

Es gibt für uns keinen Grund, das zu kritisieren, was Israel vor einer Woche in Iran begonnen hat und auch keinen Grund, das zu kritisieren, was Amerika am letzten Wochenende dort getan hat.
