@nealkhosla Do you think it's feasible for their to be true change as long as the market is dominated by payers who lobby hard to protect their positions? Genuinely curious to understand why, in a supposedly free market system, the free market is unable to solve the US Health care problems

@justingordon212 make it a practicum...from concept to first ten customers. Have the teams have an idea, test it, generate a product/service revenue and figure out GTM...if they can't do it in 3 months, they shouldn't bother

My hypothesis about generative AI - it will make people-drive/logistics businesses reliant on government support from medicaid/medicare more valuable. Care managers and "counsel" based businesses will be largely immune from tech advances, but will be significantly enhanced

@TripleNetInvest But this is a very narrow definition of success...that's his definition- you don't have to work like that or for those goals to be "successful". And I'd love to know what he's running from that he fills his life that way

@jayvas 2/ They have entrenched distribution (great referral from health care, and other community) so they enjoy a distribution advantage.

@jayvas They are esssntially local monopolies. It's a highly localized, fragmented industry, often generationally run - not many new entrants want to be in the death biz. It's hard to roll up because of the nature of the biz (few scale economies), and you can't disrupt with tech...1/
