When a church grows, it’s hard on relationships because people start losing:

1. Proximity
2. Preferences
3. Power
4. Prestige

Great people start feeling scared.

A pastor can’t be held hostage by it, but people need to know that he sees it and cares.

Love this! I remember when my oldest was 4 or 5 years old he would run down the sidewalk to the end of the street waving bye anytime I’d leave. Precious memories. Many times my boys come out as I’m already buckled and pulling out and ask for a hug, and I always try to oblige!

Reminder for all dads reading this, myself included:

Say yes more often

The dad in this video could have easily drove off, or said “Not now, I’m in a hurry”

Instead he chose to put off whatever he was doing and bond with his son

My guess is he’d say it was worth it

Little moments like this add up in our kids’ conscious and subconscious memories, and it’s always better to have more “yes” moments than “no” moments

10 years ago, Bobby Wood and a few friends started praying about planting a church in Ogden, Utah. Now, @RedemptionUtah celebrated their 10 year anniversary with 7 baptisms and hundreds of people gathered together. God's faithfulness is on display through His people!
