SOUTH AFRICAN VISAS
True South Africa isn’t keeping people’s passports anymore. Thank you for joining the fight.
But as I type 15 Ugandan tour operators who have already paid for accommodation, air tickets, paid for stands, paid for the visas, haven’t been given visas over 2 weeks of applying.
Above money won’t be refunded.
INDABA( Africa tourism fair) starts tomorrow and these guys aren’t telling them what’s happening. Someone has paid for accommodation, they call to cross check yet they have given info.
Indaba that takes place in Durban South Africa brings in what we call whole sellers from more than 50 countries, basically opportunities for our tour operators.
With the above, you can see why South Africa makes close to a usd 1bn and we make around usd 48m from South Africa and it’s the entrepreneurs who make that difference.
If you deny or delay Ugandan business persons, you are tying their hands and telling them to compete. They have the right documentation.
The other challenge is people spend up to 4hrs in line handing in their documents, on Friday, I had to wait for @FGimara who spent close to 4hrs, imagine the wasted time?
@mofaug what are you doing about this? Can you investigate this?
Let our young business people go do business.
Let’s push our foreign affairs to do something about this by sharing.

Phaneroo worshipers don't want to hear what their leadership is doing to block @HeartUganda an emergency route in Naguru. This matter is not new, just use the energy to speak some humanity to your leadership.
