@propelforward@craigwarmke@jbrukh@Obstropolos Govt legal systems are borderline worthless to most digital merchants, prohibitively slow/costly for a judgement (cross border enforcement 😂). Is it really the law if it can’t be enforced most of the time? A dueling system may bring innovative change that the state will absorb
@craigwarmke@propelforward@jbrukh@Obstropolos Law predates govt. Eg the history of commercial law is custom created by merchants and applied in their own courts. This customary law was adopted by the common law in the 18th century, but was no less law beforehand. Govt has since hi-jacked law through legal positivism.
@PeterMcCormack He swore under penalty of perjury he is Satoshi, which objectively counts as a shred of evidence (but see Judge Reinhart’s opinion saying he committed perjury).
@CalvinAyre Wrong. Page two of the judge's opinion makes clear that "the Court is not required to decide, and does not decide whether Defendant Craig Wright is Satoshi Nakamoto, the inventor of the Bitcoin cybercurrency." Perhaps you should read it. https://t.co/4ZjLhEyPsE
@SamuelPMacD@PeterMcCormack@CalvinAyre@RogerVer Reinhart did not find Wright’s conduct rose to the level of criminal contempt, but he concluded his order by saying Wright engaged perjury and committed fraud on the court, which are a felonies. It's now up to the US Attorney's office to decide whether to prosecute Wright.
"Dr. Wright intentionally submitted fraudulent documents to the Court, obstructed a judicial proceeding, and gave perjurious testimony." see p. 28. In other words, Craig Wright is a liar and a fraud.

To anyone who was wondering, the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure don't require a decision on the merits where one of the parties is shown to be a liar and a fraud in open court. #CraigWrightIsAFraud
@CalvinAyre Wrong. The judge didn't decide on the merits. He awarded the case to Kleiman on default. The Federal Rules of Civil Procedure don't require a decision on the merits where one of the parties is found to be liar and fraud in open court.
