We are grateful to the United States for all the assistance we have received – from Javelins and Patriots to political support – and we deeply value that America stands by us in defending our independence. I am grateful to every American heart that cares about the future of Ukraine, Europe, and everyone around the world for whom freedom matters.
Of course, President Trump and I discussed the current situation on the frontline as well as our diplomatic efforts. There is a real prospect to put an end to this war, and America’s resolve is decisive. We have agreed to continue these discussions during the NATO Summit in Ankara.

Folk customs are passed through families and are usually barely affected by which state rules the territory, unless it actively tries to suppress them.
Today marks the 250th anniversary of one of humanity's brightest, strongest, and most influential dreams – the American Dream of an independent, free, and prosperous nation that defends people's freedom, faith, and the pursuit of happiness.
That dream has endured many trials. It did not merely survive – it has, for two and a half centuries now, served as an example for other nations and helped the entire humanity stand firm and become freer. This was especially important in the 20th century, when America helped save the world from the rule of tyrants and built the alliances and partnerships that, for the first time, gave a large part of humanity lasting peace and the opportunity to develop in freedom.
Now, in the 21st century, America's influence and importance are certainly no less. And we see that particularly clearly in Ukraine, which is fighting for its independence, freedom, and our people's right to happiness with much the same hope, the same purpose, and the same determination with which Americans won and defended their own independence.
We deeply value the support of the United States, especially now, during Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine. American weapons – from the Javelins that President Trump decided to give to Ukraine to the Patriots that most reliably protect the lives of our people – everything the United States has provided to help us defend our country demonstrates the strength of the American spirit, American resolve, and American technology.
And we know the value of all these words better than anyone. When we ask America for Patriots, we believe that the values of respect for life and for people that prevailed 250 years ago will prevail again today. The world needs the kind of leadership that guarantees protection for freedom and for life.
I wish America a happy Fourth of July, the President of the United States and all Americans every success, and all of us around the world who value America – fruitful cooperation. "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." That is what unites all of us – all who respect America and thank America today.

Kupala is a broader Slavic/Euro tradition. “Ukrainian continuity” means Ukrainians preserved distinct forms of it, not that an 11th-century celebrant used a modern national label. Political decline is irrelevant to cultural continuity.

A Novgorod graffito (if true) is an early mention, not proof of origin. And it's Kyiv that was Rus’ capital, not a peripheral territory.
Last night, our Ukrainian long-range sanctions against Russia over this war reached targets near St. Petersburg. Ukraine's Defense Forces struck port oil infrastructure that generates revenue for Russia's war, and there were also successful strikes on Kronstadt – an important military target. The distance from Ukraine's state border is more than 850 kilometers.

This week, @YouTube has officially confirmed that, following our request, it has completed the global removal of around 600 videos that promoted Alabuga and ran recruitment content for the plant. The videos were posted on hundreds of channels with over 500 million subscribers (total).
Alabuga, a sanctioned Russian factory, which produces drones to kill Ukrainian civilians, has no place on global streaming platforms and we warmly welcome this decision and thank @Google for cooperation.
This outcome was not achieved by governments alone. It was driven by a coalition of people who refused to let this pass unnoticed. I want to thank @JesusAVGN (Alexei Gubanov), whose work first exposed these integrations and mapped the networks behind them; @michaelnacke; @nadyariot and her team John Caldwell and Christian Carino, who have supported this campaign.

The work does not end with removals. We will be now pursuing sanctions against individual bloggers who accepted payment to promote a sanctioned weapons manufacturer to millions of viewers.
Knowingly advertising a plant that builds the drones killing Ukrainians is not a content decision. It carries consequences.
We call on all other major platforms to act with the same resolve. The recruitment campaign still tries to operate across many services at once. We remain ready to work with any platform to stop the killings of Ukrainian civilians.
I’m shocked that Russia can crash a building onto sleeping families in a European capital, murdering 30 people, without any meaningful reaction from the world whatsoever.
@dominika96917@blaqsauce_ Modern borders do not determine the age of a people or culture. Ukraine’s lands were central to Kyivan Rus and early East Slavic development, and traditions such as Ivana Kupala have deep, distinctive Ukrainian continuity. Centuries of foreign rule do not erase that.
