#DPD won't be winning awards for best customer service. Absolutely shocking service received today. Since when does the consumer have no rights at all. Paid for VIP delivery and still waiting.
@DFS 3hr delivery window for today.. get a call to say they are running late so have chosen to deliver elsewhere first.. been told it will be another 3 hrs.. didnt realise a stop at mcdonalds was 'traffic'
Today I put my student uniform on for the last time 😁 3 years have gone by on a flash.. good luck to all still on their journey @WeNurses @StNurseProject
@vfsglobalcare My Dad (Dutch) arrived in London with my niece for an appt today for a visa to The Netherlands. He had a confirmation email for todays appointment yet was turned away as no appointment on system. He has taken a day off and still is not closer to getting the visa!!
Wishing these @DeanCloseSchool pupils all the very best of luck as they compete in the senior boys' category of the ESAA Cross Country Cup National Finals in Cornwall today.
Been really fortunate to spend the last 2days with physios, OTs and SLT. As a student, the learning has been invaluable and I hope to be able to utilise what I have learnt when I am a NQN. I encourage all students to try spend a day with these teams! So much to learn!
We are continuing to see high numbers of patients in our ED and UTC, and many of our beds across the hospital are in use with patients needing additional care.
Please remember that our staff are doing all they can to look after you, and that abuse towards them is #NeverOK.
Given the pressures our front line teams are currently under, it’s important to remember that minor illness and injuries can usually be dealt with at home with a well-stocked medicine cabinet, first aid kit, or with a visit to a local pharmacy.
This month in Team ED we are #makingtimeformay. We want staff to think about themselves & focus on putting their wellbeing first. There will be a 30 day challenge, cake (of course)and tips & ideas to improve wellbeing. #lookingafterteamed @LowriBigwood @GWH_NHS @nataliemitton
@WhatTheTrigMath@nmcnews @CNOEngland I am so sorry that you experienced that! I have been trying to teach myself how to sign so that I can communicate with my patients!
This is why learning sign language should be compulsory at school. AND as part of the nursing training at University. The deaf community deserve to be able to be understood, communicated with and looked after with dignity. @nmcnews @CNOEngland
Vaccine 2 today
Sadly in #DeafAwarenessWeek2021 I left upset
I couldn't hear & asked for the info the be repeated multiple times
I explained why I couldn't hear
Cue slow shouting from the staff, I was mortified as the whole room stared
That's the tweet
