They could have the same deck to fill out together and may have to work together to achieve greatness. If side 2 has a side 1 artifact maybe they are getting loot while they wait but if side 1 dies before door is opened they both lose.

1 side of the dungeon always guarantees an artifact on that side but the other side of the dungeon has a chance to have an artifact on the other side.
