"I used to see dogs as gentle, loyal creatures. Now, every time I pass one, my whole body shakes." Palestinian journalist Marah Al-Wadyi describes how the genocide in Gaza has fractured something in the way Gazans see the animals around them. She speaks about her relative Najwa, killed along with her children Sahar, Tahsin and Tayseer by Israeli quadcopters, whose body was then partly eaten by starving dogs. Marah says she understands the animals were driven to it by hunger, that this is not their nature, that Israel starved the entire Strip, people and animals alike.
Yet she admits the terror and revulsion are things she cannot reason her way out of, because in the end she is human and the images stay with her. She recalls the documented killing of Muhammad Bhar, the young man with Down syndrome who was mauled to death by an Israeli army combat dog in Shujaiya as he pleaded "enough, my love," and she points to the systematic use of trained attack dogs, imported and deployed by the occupation, to rape and torture Palestinian hostages in its prisons.
What she describes is how an entire population's relationship with the living world has been bent out of shape under siege and starvation. She speaks of fearing even cats, sensing they might see hungry, emaciated bodies as their next meal, and of the most haunting detail of all: children in Gaza who, while playing with cats, have started telling them, "Tomorrow when we die, don't you dare eat us." Marah knows it is the occupation's engineered starvation and violence that turned the animals' nature, that the dogs and cats are victims of the same policy as the people. But she is honest that it has also changed something inside her that may be hard to mend, one more wound from a war that has reached into the smallest and most intimate corners of life in Gaza.

Zeteo reports that ousted 60 Minutes correspondent Cecilia Vega was in the middle of producing a high-profile segment on Francesca Albanese, the UN special rapporteur on the occupied Palestinian territories and a prominent critic of Israel’s conduct in Gaza, when she was abruptly fired.
The report, by journalist Justin Baragona, offers new insight into the upheaval at CBS News following its acquisition by Israel supporter David Ellison and the installation of Bari Weiss as editor-in-chief.
Just in: A video from inside a court in occupied Jerusalem shows Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya appearing via video link and attempting to speak with his attorney before Israeli court security blocked the screen and terminated the call, preventing journalists from filming the exchange or the video appearance.
I listened carefully to what the attorney was saying to Dr. Abu Safiya. It appeared that Dr. Abu Safiya could not hear him. The attorney repeatedly stated that he could neither see nor hear Dr. Abu Safiya after his “captors turned off the camera.” He also informed him that some people were present in the courtroom to show their support and that they were waiting for the judge to arrive so that he could be brought back on screen before the court addressed the appeal.
This is Israel’s democracy. Dr. Abu Safiya has been subjected to starvation, abuse, and cruel torture, and this latest development only adds to concerns about the conditions he has endured and the lack of public scrutiny surrounding his case.
🚨 DISGUSTING: Patriot Rep. Thomas Massie exposes how the Washington establishment completely ignored the USS Liberty survivors for 59 years!
He reveals these brave men, now in their 80s, still have Israeli shrapnel in their bodies that sets off Capitol metal detectors.
🚨 WTF?! A USS Liberty survivor drops a massive bombshell.
He confirms they were threatened with prison or worse if they ever spoke about the Israeli attack.
Another veteran explicitly states "Israel owns us" after being ignored by Congress for 59 years. Total betrayal!
Fuck you, @washingtonpost . Amal did not ‘die,’ she was deliberately targeted and murdered after receiving threats from the Israeli army. She was in touch with us, her colleagues, during this situation. We all know exactly what happened. Shame on you for intentionally diminishing the criminality of the actions of the Israeli army with this headline. Shame on all of you and your correspondents in Beirut.
I hope to see you on trial for your propaganda in my lifetime.
The world’s largest human rights organization published a report today on Israel’s ethnic cleansing of Palestinians and there’s barely any media coverage.
How is this not newsworthy?
🔴 The son of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza held in Israeli detention since December 2024, warned Monday that his father’s life is in danger after being transferred to solitary confinement in Nafha Prison — a move the family says came in direct retaliation for filing a legal appeal with the Israeli Supreme Court.
The family says Abu Safiya is being held in a two-meter cell with no food, water, medicine, or access to his lawyer.
“How can a person be punished for asking why he is being detained?” his son asked in an urgent public appeal. “Every hour that passes without action may bring more suffering and pain.”
Journalists in this country are unable to be completely honest about what role Bari Weiss is actually playing and why she specifically is being chosen to do this, even when they share their most intense critiques of her. Her role is simple: to protect and uphold pro Israel narratives and propaganda.
Nothing has been as transparent in intention of the explicit reconfiguring of Zionism’s paramount position in our news media than the placement of Weiss at the top.
Our news media can’t say that, the big name journalists can’t say that, because they are complicit in the slaughter of Palestinians and for most of them, Israel, Jewishness and Zionism are still too sacred of a cow.
Last weekend in Al-Khalil (Hebron) Israeli soldiers fired at a Palestinian family in their car. The soldiers claimed the car was speeding at them.
A 7-month-old baby died from agunshot to the head.
It turns out someone took a video of the incident. The car fully stopped. The soldier fired anyway.
He murdered a baby, and almost an entire family, in cold blood.
There was no violence and no fighting going on. No unrest. No stress.
This is Israeli society: am industrial scale assembly line of baby murderers in cold blood.
This is the apartheid and occupation Palestinians are forced to live under decade after decade.
Hundreds of thousands of Israelis could have been there instead of that soldier, and make the same decision, and have no emotional response whatsoever.
The Jewish state is a superpower of child murder. And it is protected by all the cultural, political, academic, economic, creative forces of an entire civilization.
May it burn with all its psychopaths and murderers.
I had asked about this horrific crime by Israel — using drones to broadcast recordings of crying children so they could shoot Palestinians who were lured — when I first saw it reported in Gaza in 2024.
The Biden admin spokesperson saw no evil.
The Trump spokesperson hasn’t had a briefing in almost a year.
Now Israel is reportedly doing it in Lebanon. Video by @decensorednews
Poor dumb Eric Willison thinks a country surrounded by US military bases whose government the US overthrew in 1953, that the US has sanctioned since 1979, that had a US- and Gulf monarchy-backed war waged against it by Iraq in the '80s, that is targeted by a US-backed color revolution every few years including this January, and that has had unprovoked wars launched against it by the US and Israel twice in less than a year is somehow the aggressor.
10 Things They DON’T Want You to Know About Israel’s Attack on the USS Liberty:
1. Israel identified the ship as American hours earlier and then attacked anyway.
2. Israelis jammed all U.S. distress frequencies so the ship couldn’t call for help.
3. One torpedo instantly killed 25 crew.
4. Israel shot up life rafts with machine guns.
5. Israeli helicopters circled the ship after the attack but refused to help the wounded crew.
6. U.S. jets launched twice to save the ship but the U.S. military ordered them back during the attack.
7. Congress never did a full investigation despite 34 dead and 171 injured.
8. Navy investigation was rigged: top lawyer swore they were forced to call it a mistake.
9. Joint Chiefs chairman and NSA leaders called it deliberate and a U.S. cover-up.
10. Survivors were threatened with court martial if they talked about it.
"What's happening in Gaza is a Holocaust and what's being designed by the Israel government is the final solution to the Palestinian problem. As a Holocaust survivor my reaction is not in my name."

My wife and I were talking when she looked at me and said:
"It feels like the world has forgotten us... It feels like we are just waiting for death."
Then my son Imad interrupted and said:
"Why, Mom? Doesn't Dad always say that people around the world stand with us? That the war will end? That Gaza will be rebuilt? He even told me there will be a school for me to go to one day." 💔
I looked at them and replied:
"No, the world has not forgotten us. There are still good people standing with us. And one day, the sun of freedom will rise over Gaza again."
So my friends, if you stand with us, please leave a 🇵🇸, a 🍉, or even just a dot (.)
I want to show my family that they are not alone.
Please don't ignore us.
🚨🇺🇸🇮🇱 Tulsi Gabbard allegedly received the Israel critical threat report 18 days ago, and resigned three days later.
Lt. Col. Anthony Aguilar says the report was deliberately slow-rolled until Section 224 passed the House, giving Israel unprecedented access to U.S. intelligence and defense technology.
The U.S. just labeled Israel its most aggressive spy threat and handed them the keys to the vault the same week.
"You just robbed the bank. Want to be the bank manager?"
