When someone says smoking, weed is not the only thing people smoke. Weed is just one of many.

Also, possibility is not same thing as necessity. Thus, that something CAN affect you, doesn't mean it WILL affect you.

Talking about work ethics and productivity, I understand theory but I prefer reality. I do not know one smoker who has a poor work ethics. The largely smoking society have a stronger work ethics than our non-smoking society, anyway. They are mentally fitter than us if this is the society our mental fitness can produce.

And it's laughably dishonest. The first paragraph affirms the risk of smoking and insists weed is just one of them. The second affirms again the risk of smoking, then claims that it's not 100% certain ("You MIGHT survive jumping off a bridge so you should do it").
