@SenPeterWelch I’ve been considering dropping my coverage for a year now. $2800 a month would stay in my pocket and if I did need to go to the hospital I would pay less for services as an uninsured patient. In Vermont we have 2 options and they both suck.
@SenPeterWelch Stop trying to string along ACA. It doesn’t make healthcare affordable. You would know that if congress had to use the system everyone else is stuck with.
@SenWarren Nope, wrong. If my premium could go to an HSA I wouldn’t have medical debt and would have money left over for the future. ACA is garbage for the working class.
@SenPeterWelch ACA is unsustainable. My premiums increase 10-15% every year. I currently pay over $2800 for a family of 4. I still owe medical bills because that coverage is garbage. Throwing more money at the problem doesn’t seem to be solving anything. Care was better before ACA.
@SenPeterWelch Peter,
How about you concern yourself with your constituents in Vermont that already pay $2800+ every month for healthcare that doesn’t cover nearly what the people who get it for free have. The system is broken and throwing tax money at it isn’t solving anything.
Sounding a lot like sorry if you were offended by my beliefs. Her quote was “we aren’t going to have anyone around to wipe our asses”. That can be interpreted as suggesting citizens cannot or lack the will to wipe their own asses. Or she means to say that the only good reason to have immigration is so we don’t have to wipe our own asses. Both define a sad state of affairs for our society and suggest the exploitation of others.
@SenPeterWelch Wish others in this state would realize how out of touch the politicians are that we send to DC. Vermont is practically little California.
