Problem: Fetching in useEffect means React components render, then fetch. This can lead to slow network waterfalls.

Solution: Fetch as you render. Use react-query's prefetching (prefetch in the parent) or use @remix_run which does this by default via nested routes.

@EffectTS_ i took it for a spin and realised quickly how fake this all is

- `fetch` may throw if there is no internet connection ("Failed to fetch")
- if the response is not json, `res.json()` will throw (e.g.: "Unexpected token < at 0")

i’m really only making the EXPECTED errors typesafe
