My mom called me at work to tell me that my dog keeps throwing her ball in the bucket of the construction machinery forcing the construction men to laugh, fetch it out of the bucket and throw it for her. She told me not to be surprised if I don’t have a dog bc they all love her.

My parents decided that even tho I am a strong capable 26 year old that I am not allowed to go on a 8.2 round trip mile hike out of fear that I’ll hurt myself or that a man will grab me in the woods. Mind you I’d have my dog in broad day light. What a wonderful time to a woman

I’m incredibly grateful for my parents and the upbringing they have given me but there are times when I forget until I talk to my friends and realize that I truly am one of the most fortunate and lucky people to have the family that I do.

Today all my moms friends were talking about the grandkids they have/ are having and all my mom could say was “and all I’m getting is more geandpups” that’s right linda, you will not be getting any grandkids from me anytime soon. Only grandpups!
