250 years ago, our Founding Fathers declared the Colonies to be free and independent states, dissolving all political bonds with Great Britain. The Patriots would not stand idly by amid the long train of abuses and usurpations by King George, who sought to reduce the Colonies to absolute Despotism. "With a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence," they pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor to the cause of independence and ordered liberty. Through this appeal to Heaven, victory was won!

Never forget the great men who fought the early battles for us and paved the way for the nation we have today.
