15 years ago 2 terrorists murdered 5 members of the Fogel family in their home in Itamar. The parents, Ehud and Ruth, and three of the children - Yoav, Elad, and baby Hadas.
I remember it as if it were yesterday.
May their memories be a blessing hy"d 💔🕯
Yarden Bibas just shared this video for what should’ve been his son Ariel’s 6th birthday.
Every second of this video hurts.
Turn the volume up, and try not to cry.
Happy Birthday Ariel🧡
We will not forget you.
🥺💔
Ariel Bibas, was supposed to celebrate his 6th birthday today with his family and friends, but terrorists in Gaza cut his life short.
His family wrote to the public:
“We invite you to light a candle or release an orange balloon and dedicate a good moment with a loved one that will bring a smile to their face — send a message, give a hug, offer help to someone.”
THIS. IS. ISRAEL.
Ro’i Klein (on the left) is an Israeli hero.
He was a commander in the Golani Brigade.
He was one of Israel’s most decorated soldiers.
On July 26, 2006 Ro’i, 31-years-old, was commanding his troops during the Battle of Bint Jbeil.
A Hezbollah terrorist threw a grenade at his unit, and Ro’i jumped on the grenade to save his soldiers.
He was killed instantly.
19 years later, Yoav, Ro’i’s son who was an infant when his father was killed, has now drafted intro the Golani Brigade.
Following in his father’s footsteps.
Because that’s what we do.
May God bless Yoav with safety and success in his service.
THE NATION OF ISRAEL LIVES - BIG TIME!
The young man on the left is Or Chadash.
That means “a new light.”
Yes, that’s his name.
He was born five years after his uncle Uriel Peretz was killed while fighting Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon.
His father, Eliraz Peretz, gave him that name because the first letter of the two names spells “Ach” which means “brother.”
He saw his new son as a “new light” that gave him comfort, hope, and continuity after his brother fell.
When Or Chadash was 6-years-old, his father, Eliraz, was killed while fighting Hamas terrorists in Gaza.
Miriam Peretz, mother of Uriel and Eliraz, of blessed memory, and Or Chadash’s grandmother (in the middle in the picture) wrote the following today:
“From the day that Eliraz was killed, I prayed every day that the day should come that I will be blessed to see Or Chadash at his wedding, that I should merit to dance with him the way his father would have danced with him.
Yesterday God blessed me with this moment.
My grandson Or Chadash got engaged to Renana. (On the right in the picture)
It wasn’t a simple moment.
Crying and rejoicing mixed together.
Deep pain that my son Eliraz wasn’t blessed to stand alongside his son at his bar mitzvah and his engagement.
And happiness that this 6-year-old boy grew up, serves today in the IDF, and will now be establishing a new home in the land of Israel.
It’s possible to live with this instance combination.
The heart can be broken.
And from that brokenness, a new home will be built.”
MAZAL TOV!
6:50am EST: The entire town of Tenafly New Jersey is singing, cheering, and praying for the release of their resident, Edan Alexander, after nearly 600 days in captivity. 🙏
I’m sorry, my girl. I’m sorry you saw tears in my eyes when you woke up, before I sang happy birthday to you.
I’m sorry I let myself imagine Daddy coming back for your birthday and lighting the candles on the cake with you.
I’m sorry you were taken hostage at just six months old. I’m sorry you still are. I’m sorry it’s been more than a year, and you still don’t have a photo with Daddy. I’m sorry I couldn’t make the world a better place. I’m sorry I can’t take Daddy out of the photo and bring him home to us.
Happy birthday, my ray of sunshine. Roni, Mommy, and Daddy love you to the moon and back.
We’ll keep working hard to make you the happiest little girl.

THIS. IS. ISRAEL.
The children of the northern city of Kiryat Shemonah spent 15 months in hotels.
They recently returned to their homes.
And they returned to school.
This picture shows the words that young children found on the whiteboard in their classroom, in a school which served as a home base for IDF soldiers in our war against Hezbollah.
The note reads:
“From this classroom we left to go on missions deep into Lebanon.
We fought like lions and we protected you.
Dear and sweet children - we hope that all of you are still smiling, happy, and healthy.
Welcome back!
May you have a continued good, happy, and safe year.
- from the warriors of Division 98
Until total victory!”
We Can’t Stop Talking About Them—And We Never Will.
The Bibas babies were stolen from their cribs, ripped from their parents, and dragged into the darkness of Gaza. Kfir Bibas, just 9 months old when he was taken, has now spent more of his life in captivity than in freedom. His brother, Ariel, only 4 years old, should be arguing over bedtime and superheroes, not fighting for survival in the hands of terrorists. They should be watching Batman, not living a nightmare.
This isn’t just about Jewish children. This is about children. About the moral line that should be so blindingly clear it doesn’t require debate. If we, as a global community, can’t agree that kidnapping babies is an atrocity, then what do we stand for?
These children are an allegory for all of our children. For every child who deserves to be safe in their bed, not used as a pawn in a war they never chose. For every parent who has ever held their baby and understood, in their bones, that there is no greater duty than protecting them.
We talk about them because we must. Because silence is complicity. Because a world that moves on from kidnapped babies is a world that has lost its soul.
We won’t stop. #BringThemHome #BibasFamily #KfirBibas #ArielBibas #EveryChildMatters
