@SylviaJonesMPP Or you could invest that money into things that benefit people, like education, health care, transit. Interest rates just got cut again, and have you heard of the carbon rebate program?
@fordnation Do you honestly think that these bike lanes weren’t put in without significant study and work? If you provide more options that take up less room, biking, walking, transit, then more people use them, the less cars, the more room for cars. Why are you waging this #waronbikes?
Fellow Ontario tax payers - please like and retweet if you would rather $3.2 Billion be invested in public services, like education, healthcare, ODSP, support for autism families, than be dolled out in one-time $200 pre-election bribes by Doug Ford. #onpoli#onted#cdpoli
By #DougFordLogic, cyclists will be forced to abandon their bikes, and purchase cars instead. Then they’ll use their new cars to clog the lanes that were ripped out from underneath them. Then they’ll join the league of angry drivers fed up with congestion that they create.
@_MarkSutcliffe traffic congestion is caused by cars, period. Not by people using other methods of transportation, walking, cycling, and transit. Improvements to the latter three not only benefit those users, but also car users, as less people will be in cars. Also less $$$
@PrabSarkaria@TheThanigasalam@CHogarthPC Stay in your lane and let municipalities plan their traffic based on their work, don’t add needless bureaucracy. You’re supposed to be the party of less government. And if Doug Ford wants to run Toronto, he should run for mayor.
@OCT_Fan@RiverWardRiley@rail613 No fencing south of the hunt club loop, but it was very loose large gravel last week, hopefully not the finished product.
@fordnation Canada has had multiple rate cuts in this time, so, maybe, just maybe, know what you’re talking about, and focus on provincial matters, like healthcare, education, housing.
The Fed slashes interest rates aggressively, the first rate cut since March 2020. This paves the way for lower borrowing costs. https://t.co/Nxh7WaYQPP
@fordnation@PBethlenfalvy And those waiting for a family doctor? Waiting on a stretcher in the ER? Families waiting for autism programs? What about them? Guess they can easily get drunk and forget all their problems like you’ve forgotten them.
