@ProfBrianCox On second thoughts, if the Universe is infinite, then wouldnโt there be an infinite number of civilizations? I hope the Universe is not infinite โ too many monkeys and not enough cages!
@patton_cascadia Great work Jay ๐ Letโs hope this ongoing tectonic stress release doesnโt awaken the Matthew Island stratovolcano around 85km NE of the activity. https://t.co/d0Jpe847GQ
With the climate already on the brink, these eruptions bring us quicker to a catastrophic climate than they would have otherwise. https://t.co/l1oc100g28
Wow! This is brilliant work! Thanks โฆ@TSonPhamโฉ and โฆProf @HrvojeTkalcicโฉ. Studying the Earthโs core is just wonderful. https://t.co/NUzjc9lWRB
Thank you โฆ@BCSpaceyโฉ. All earthquakes recorded in the priceless historical record are an important data source for earthquake forecasting and seismic gap analysis, especially in major tectonic boundary regions. Great work! https://t.co/QeAgcaX8I1
Buying votes buy relaxing the enforcement of building codes. Now thatโs a new low for power hungry politicians.
Tรผrkiye ignored 2021 warnings and had lax policing of building codes before earthquake, say experts https://t.co/SBjHaruZ31
Stan Grant is an Australian National Treasure!
In the year of the Voice, Australians must overcome a language barrier if we're to speak to each other, to hear the same truth https://t.co/djyaRVHy82
@abcnews As fully conscious life forms, humans can terraform our Earth, both deliberately and accidentally. Human pollution is mostly deliberate. Whenever we drive a car, use gas, use electricity, we deliberately pollute our surroundings.
@abcnews How water is distributed across Earth is purely natural. This includes human activity and all other natural processes.

@HardcoreHistory It was the general range of guns like these that caused the decision for Australiaโs new capital, Canberra, to be placed so far from the coastline (not that any USS ship would attack Australia). Even though rockets had been used in battle beforeโฆ https://t.co/sRXQwSUnsv.
I donโt know what it is, but every time I see Tony Armstrong (@Tonaaayy_) eat, he looks like heโs eating the for first time - so funny! @BreakfastNews.
@abcnews I guess no one but a geodesist, surveyor, or mapper wouldโve noticed that Australiaโs first step to going metric was to move Australiaโs geospatial reference system from the Clarke 1858 ellipsoid, defined in yards, to the Australian Geodetic Datum 1966, defined in metres.
