@RobbieTwts@daisyeastlake Could ask Nigel's mate for another dodgey £5M to sort it. No need to declare it as Nigel has shown us there are no consequences for breaking that rule.
YOUNG PEOPLE. LISTEN UP.
Today Nigel Farage said the government should cut the minimum wage for young people
...to “raise aspiration” and “boost business"
It's £10ph FFS!
Lower your pay so you’ll dream bigger
DO YOU SEE IT NOW?
Spread far & wide.

@NasCostomano@PolitlcsUK The deputy leader isn't a role in government. The new deputy prime minister is David Lammy. The winner of this contest will just have a louder voice to represent party members to Starmer on issues affecting them e.g. internal rule changes.
@JDBASURVIVOR@JakeOfPoole@DeclanStones1@AaronBastani Fair play to them. Would have been a good example to point to in the Fabians meeting as it's working. Agreed on the respect issue. I think once you have visual signs of decline, like closed piers, people give up looking after the place they live. Takes work to recover that pride.
@JDBASURVIVOR@JakeOfPoole@DeclanStones1@AaronBastani Interesting. Does that work well? Does the supermarket keep up with maintenance? Does the council have to subsidise them at all? Seen a lot of problems with private companies maintaining them but suppose if the supermarket requires the pier to operate, it must just be an overhead
@JDBASURVIVOR@DeclanStones1@AaronBastani Exactly right. Many councils have been unable to afford maintenance of their piers as they have many other essential services to pay for. We had Patrick Hurley MP come down to speak about Southport pier being closed for this reason.
@JDBASURVIVOR@DeclanStones1@AaronBastani Well the last meeting was about alternative ideas to finance pier repair. We liked the idea of having an additional wing of the national trust and agreed how important piers are to coastal towns. The conspiracy theories around the Fabians are just odd to anyone in Labour.
We were given a huge gift by the British public of a huge majority. But now we are on 20% in the polls.
We have to stop making mistakes and start listening.
And we must be prepared for the fight of our lives against Farage.
@PolitlcsUK Will cost more than 10bn if his "fallback" plan is to use the ascension islands. How much would it cost to send 1000s of people all the way over there?
Wages not based on ages has long been GMB's mantra.
You don't pay less rent if you're young. Your food bill isn't lower.
Today's news that an end is coming to age-bands in minimum wage laws is massive.
This government listens to workers. And acts.
@SallyMayweather This is politically illiterate. The equity is very much socialism. In fact, it's a bit Marxist. Take the box from the tallest, who can see without a box, (from each according to their ability) and give an extra box to the shortest so he can see (to each according to their needs)
@JimSmith1278@DeclanStones1@leecarps You've posted the link to the speech he made when the EHRC gave Labour the clean bill of health regarding antisemitism after Starmer's changes.
@Mikey1732 Votes for 16 year olds was in the manifesto. I canvassed for them and told plenty of people about it. Most were pleased with the idea as young people have been ignored for decades. Now both Reform and Labour are courting the youth vote as it's larger than before. This is great.
@BeormasSpam@jadenainelynch "regurgitate what they're told at college" what do you think college is? Are you British? Doesn't sound like someone who has any experience of living here.
