@shegone03 Years ago, a team’s actual coach knew the game and could teach it. They didn’t have a kid on the team. They practiced multiple times a week and played 1-2 games. Now, the coaches are all parents and they play 4-6 games and never practice.

@CoachSwit We used to run the bases at the end of every practice and after every home game. It became tradition and brought the team closer together. And it personally gave me a chance to get out any frustrations after a bad game. Games over, I left it on the field.

@CoachSwit The youth baseball system is failing. The ratio of 6-8 games for every one practice is way out of whack. The way to get better is to practice.
