Tom Holland just dropped this in a recent interview and the internet is still processing it:
“Look… I’m not gonna sit here and pretend. I really don’t like Hollywood. The whole machine, the politics, the fake smiles, the constant performance outside the work itself. I’m actively trying to pull myself out of it as much as I can.
I don’t do red carpets just to be seen. If I’m not in the movie, I’m not going. Simple. I only show up when it’s something I actually worked on. The rest of it? Not for me.
There’s a dark side to this industry that I want no part of. I’ve seen enough. I don’t need to be in every room, every party, every headline. That’s not the life I want.
At the end of the day, I just want to keep being Spider-Man with Marvel. That’s the one thing that still feels pure to me. Everything else… I’m finding ways to step back and live as normal a life as possible. Because Hollywood’s version of ‘normal’ isn’t something I ever wanted.”
The way he said it, calm, direct, zero PR polish, hit different.
i just want to point out… the amount of money the U.S. has spent on war in the last 2.5 months is roughly the same cost that Bernie Sanders proposed for universal college. so the real question is never ‘can we afford it’… it’s what we choose to prioritize.
FRIENDLY REMINDER THAT WE LITERALLY DEPEND ON TREES, CLEAN WATER, HEALTHY SOIL, AND STABLE ECOSYSTEMS TO EXIST. THAT'S NOT AN OPINION, IT IS HOW LIFE WORKS. STOP TREATING OUR FORESTS, RIVERS, OCEANS, AND WILDLIFE LIKE THEY'RE REPLACEABLE
So Mamdani got landlords to fix their properties, balanced the city budget, lowered crime, froze rent, taxed the rich, and launched a free day care program and y’all still saying socialism will fail.
Ignorance.
Four years ago, the Supreme Court stripped away a fundamental Constitutional right and put abortion care out of reach for millions of Americans.
Today, we're sending a different message. With New York State, we are investing $495,000 to expand the NYC Abortion Access Hub, connecting more people to abortion care, medication, transportation, lodging and support services, no matter where they live.
Abortion is health care. Health care is a human right. We're protecting that right in New York City.
For those who are too young to remember: Mamdani’s New York is what the Obamas’ US used to feel like. Filled with joy, promise and hope. So much freaking hope...
The funniest part about the world rallying behind Zoran Mamdani is that he’s literally just doing his job, but by doing so shows us that every other politician is just lining their pockets & leaving us to rot 😭
Note to anyone angry that Trump's name was taken off the Kennedy Center, don't you worry. You can still find his name in the Epstein files over 38,000 times.

The U.S was a terrible choice to host the world cup.
